Dalton paved the way as the endeavor grew from a bingo hall in 1985 to the successful business it is today. What began as one woman’s dream of self-sufficiency for the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians has grown into a full-scale casino, hotel and resort with 900 employees and millions of dollars donated back into the local community.
